A screen print with gold pigment on Fabriano paper, in an edition of 10. Anne Gournay's work is inspired by her long walks in Hampstead Heath and her love of the outdoor. She explores patterns in nature, the ephemeral quality of life, its beauty and the traces we leave behind. The pigments are gently applied on the ink when it is fresh with a very soft brush, in order to obtain this shimmering effect. As shown in the various photos, the pigments capture the light differently depending on its direction and intensity.
