Flower Power
Flower Power follows on "Connected", through a variation of close-up flowers, using a combination of screen prints and raw pigments (gold). The bright and cheerful colours, combined to the bold graphics remind of pop art, whilst the fresh gold pigments enhance the flower's pystil or stamens, to remind how barren is our life without being connected to nature. There are four different series: Flower Power, smaller screenprints which can be assembled together, and are very reminiscent of Andy Warhol's style, Just Because I Like Them So Much, larger prints focusing on the flower itself, Love me, Love me not, and Poppy, a very cheerful celebration of nature and spring.
